The Business Threat Awareness Council (individually and/or collectively hereinafter "BTAC") is committed to safeguarding your privacy online. Please read the following policy to understand how your personal information will be treated as you make use of our offerings. This policy may change from time to time, so please check back periodically.

BTAC is a member-oriented organization and our website is intended to expedite communication with our members. However, we welcome all Internet users to navigate through this website for information-gathering purposes.

There is no registration necessary upon entering our site and we encourage all users to take full advantage of the information we have provided. However, certain areas of the BTAC site may be restricted to authorized users.

Members of BTAC select committees in which they would like to participate. These committee members may receive information via Internet e-mail related to the committee on which they have requested participation.

For our members' convenience, BTAC also allows members to register for various meetings and forums on-line. Our site's registration form requires members to provide contact information (name, address, email address) to be used strictly for contacting registrants when necessary. We do not share this information with any third party.

To better serve our members and diagnose problems with our server, BTAC tracks user traffic patterns throughout this site and may at times track search terms that users have entered into our search facility. However, we do not correlate this information with data regarding individual users.

E-mail harvesting is forbidden at or on our site. Anyone attempting to harvest our e-mail addresses will be reported to their Internet Service Provider ("ISP") with a request to terminate the offending account(s).
